Password Problems

If you recieve the password but it doesn't work?
delete your cookies and try again

if that didnt work?

If you don't recieve the password?

Often email spam filters are set to delete what they think is spam.

check your spam folder, If it is not there? Change your spam filter settings
then get our system to send you another one by using Password Recovery

With shaw you can trun off your spam filter by going to shaw.ca - login
click on webmail / settings / spam filter / then select the top choice. "Disable Junk Email Filtering"
and click on our  Password Recovery

With Telus you can report non email spam by following these steps
OR you can simply turn off your spam filter here
and click on our  Password Recovery

These are simular to most email providers.

Emails have problems due to email spam filters settings
If you can not change your email settings then change your email
once they were changed to another email address "eg. hotmail, yahoo, gmail" the problem was fixed.

It still is not sending me my password?
Email us and we will send you one by hand

Go to the login panel and click on our  Password Recovery

 

 

My ads
How can i find my ad if it is inactive or active?
login and click the  My ads  link located on the user's menu bar.

My new ad doesn't show in My ads link?
If the system rejected or accepted your ad? it will say in the info bar after you clicked OK

The only reason the system will reject an ad, is one of pictures was to big.
maximum file size 1 MB & 1024X768 pixels size.
Which is about the width of a 17 inch monitor

If it rejected your ad, click the OK button again to save the written text
then go resize the pictures. Click modify on your ad, to update pictures.

An admin will need to review your ad before it is actovated

How can I change or update my ad?
go to your ad and click on the Modify link. "It's above the main picture"

How can i change an picture?
Up load another on over top of it.
They are in order, the 4th pic would be the 4th one down.
If it is still showing the old pic after the upload, click the refresh.

We reconmend you use your own reply to this posting once
to check that you do get your emails from your ad.
If you dont get the email, you need to change you spam filter setting.
or change to another email eg. hotmail or yahoo etc.

Cancellation Refunds
If we modify you ad before accepting it and you no longer want
to advertise with us due to the manitory modifcations
you have 24 hours to email us for a refund.

This does not apply to ads that were modifed after 24 hours,
ads that had emails removed or acceeded of maximum words allowed or
ads that did not conform to the submit form instructions clearly noted on the left hand side.

Account and listing removal

I had a working account but now i cant sign in?
If you had an account but no listing your account was deleted.
Make another when ready to add a listing.

If you made multi accounts, your listings & your accounts were deleted.

If you made multi listings that were the same address, your listings & account were deleted.
Example: Rent the whole house ad, then another ad for the basement suite of the same address.

You are only allowed one free listing.

I had a listing and it was removed?

The most common reasons for this are:

"Incomplete listings or with little information are deleted"

There are clearly marked guide lines in bold red to the left of the input boxes.
Usually an admin will correct your new ad once & if you changed it back
your free listing & account were probably deleted.

Once a listing is approved, we give you the option to update your listing
but we simply havent got time to correct Free listings all the time
if you dont follow the guide lines, we remove your Free listings.
This saves both you and us time and frustration.

There are also rare occasion we can encounter a problem
with the program or needed to restore our database.
In either case, make a new listing & follow the guide lines.
