Waterfront Hideaway Resort offers three spacious and tastefully-appointed apartment suites, all are self-contained and suitable for either short or longer-stay guests. All have private enterance, en suite bathrooms, as well as private balconies from which to enjoy the magnificent views of British Columbia’s coastal mountains and waterways.
In addition to the hospitality and comfort that business and leisure guests rightly expect while travelling, Waterfront Hideaway has spa facilities,relaxation massage, including a full-size Jacuzzi, in a separate glass-fronted annex that affords the same magnificent harbour and mountain views as those enjoyed from the main building.

The bed and breakfast inn is open year-round, with negotiable rates available for longer, off-season stays. The inn is permanently staffed by either the owners, an experienced on-site manager, or both. English, Swedish and Farsi languages are fluently spoken.

Waterfront Hideaway Resort is located approximately mid-way up ‘The Bluff,’ which means that the beach is easily accessible from the main building and from our gently-sloping lawns, which of course, are available to those of our guests who might wish to enjoy an outdoor barbecue. Facilities to do so, are of course provided.
In the Gibsons area itself, there are many opportunities for shoreline or offshore fishing. The town’s lengthy and striking pier is home to a number of boat operators, with facilities for either fishing or sightseeing charters. For those who prefer dry land, nearby Soames Hill offers excellent hiking and wildlife-viewing possibilities, as do many other areas of The Sunshine Coast peninsula.

A step from the beach, Waterfront Hideaway commands sweeping, panoramic views Howe Sound, the neighboring islands of Keats and Gambier, the snow-capped Coast mountain ranges.

The Sunshine Coast in general — and Gibsons Town in particular — is well-served with easily explorable arts, crafts and clothing boutiques, as well as art galleries displaying the works of local artists, some with international reputations. The town centre houses a number of restaurants, including Greek, Japanese, Szechuan and European cuisines, with other varieties of traditional and ethnic specialties within a few minutes’ drive.
